With hopes you&#8217;ll continue to enjoy our reviews and our love of the mystery genre.<br \/>\n\u2014Robin &amp; Jamie Agnew<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Our Reviewers<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Margaret Agnew<\/em> is a senior courthouse clerk in St. Louis, Missouri.\u00a0 A graduate of Ripon College and Indiana University, she has been a mystery fan and an avid reader from an early age.\u00a0 She was also a reviewer for Mystery Scene Magazine.<\/p>\n<p><em>Robin Agnew<\/em> owned &amp; operated Aunt Agatha\u2019s Bookshop with her husband, Jamie, for 26 years.\u00a0 The store won the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Raven_Award\">Raven Award<\/a>\u00a0from the Mystery Writers of America in 2014.\u00a0 She reviewed for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysteryscenemag.com\/\">Mystery Scene<\/a>\u00a0for many years, writing the Very Original Cozy column, and she is now writing a column for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/new.deadlypleasures.com\/\">Deadly Pleasures<\/a>.\u00a0 She also maintains and writes reviews for auntagathas.com.<\/p>\n<p><em>Cathy Akers-Jordan<\/em> is a writing instructor at the University of Michigan-Flint where she teaches composition, business communications, and technical writing. She also works with independent study students who are writing fantasy and science-fiction. Her current works-in-progress are crime fiction.<\/p>\n<p><em>Vicki Kondelik<\/em> is a cataloger at the University of Michigan\u2019s Graduate Library, and edits their book review blog,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.lib.umich.edu\/blogs\/lost-stacks\">Lost in the Stacks.<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0She writes book reviews for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/historicalnovelsociety.org\/reviews\/\">Historical Novel Society<\/a>, and is currently writing a historical novel.\u00a0 She has been an avid mystery reader for a long time.<\/p>\n<p><em>Carla Schantz<\/em> is a Courthouse Clerk Supervisor and has a bachelor\u2019s degree in English as well as a master\u2019s in legal studies. Books have been a passion of hers since she was young, and she is a firm believer in the purse book so that she is never without a book at any time.<\/p>\n<hr width=\"60%\" \/>\n<p>Aunt Agatha&#8217;s Bookstore was the recipient of the <a href=\"http:\/\/mysterywriters.org\/mwa-announces-2014-grand-master-and-raven-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2014 Raven Award<\/a>, presented by Mystery Writers of America. Established in 1953, the award recognizes outstanding achievement in the mystery field outside the realm of creative writing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are absolutely thrilled and astonished to be the recipient of the Raven Award! We feel we have been privileged for twenty-one years to share our passion for mysteries with readers and to put forward the work of writers we love.
